Presbyterian Women Purpose
Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves:
* To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,
* To support the mission of the Church worldwide,
* To work for justice and peace, and
* To build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witnesses to the promise of God’s Kingdom.
One of the best ways to know other women at Westminster is by being a member of a Circle. Through sharing, Bible study, worshiping together in small groups, forming relationships of mutual concern and support for each other, the church and the world can be built.
There are two Circles at Westminster and we hope you will join one of these. They meet monthly from September - May, and often combined Circles meet in the summer.
The Day Circle meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 2PM at the church in the Conference Room.
Chair - Charlotte Martin (706) 234-4207.
The Evening Circle meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:30PM in Westminster’s Conference Room.
Chair - Laurie Johnson at (706)234-1539.
Presbyterian Women is a church wide organization whose membership is open to women of the PC(USA) who choose to participate in or be supportive of the organization in any way.
For 2016-2017 the monthly Circle's will use and discuss:
